Buncombe Rental Assistance Collaborative helps address the challenges for landlords & tenants that stand in the way of finding homes in the private market.
Many families and individuals needing housing security who have the financial support to access new housing opportunities cannot because landlords are reluctant to accept federal rental subsidies. As a result, hundreds of families and individuals are locked out of the most basic necessity for a thriving and productive life.

Buncombe County Rental Assistance Collaborative is a partnership between 6 local organizations committed to housing security. We are working together to preserve access to affordable housing for vulnerable people in our community.
We are helping preserve local affordable housing for locals who need it. We are leveraging local funding from Buncombe County, the City of Asheville, and private grantors and donors to our partners to capture badly needed federal funding.
